The incredibly talented actress Kelley Mack, renowned for her remarkable performances in popular television series such as The Walking Dead and 9-1-1, has sadly passed away at just 33 years old.
News of Mack’s untimely passing was made public through a heartfelt post shared on her official Instagram account.

She was a vibrant, passionate light who has now transitioned to the next realm, a journey we all must eventually undertake,” the poignant message, penned by Kelley’s sister, stated.
“Kelley peacefully departed on Saturday evening, surrounded by her loving mother, Kristen, and her devoted aunt, Karen. It is said that Kelley has visited many of her loved ones in the form of beautiful butterflies,” the touching tribute continued.
“Her absence will be felt deeply by so many, in ways that words can hardly capture.”
The comments section beneath the post quickly filled with heartfelt condolences and cherished memories of this gifted young star.
“What an extraordinary person. I feel so privileged to have shared our final episode together,” expressed Alanna Masterson, who also starred alongside Kelley in The Walking Dead.
What Led to Kelley Mack’s Untimely Death?
As reported by CNN, Kelley Mack tragically passed away after fighting valiantly against glioma of the central nervous system.
Gliomas are a type of tumor that severely impact the brain and spinal cord, posing significant health challenges. This tragic diagnosis serves as a reminder of the critical importance of awareness and research regarding such conditions.
In addition to her role as Addy in The Walking Dead Season 9, Kelley showcased her talent by portraying the crossover character Penelope Jacobs on Chicago Med and on FOX’s 9-1-1.
She also lent her voice to animated films like Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse and appeared in promotional campaigns for well-known brands including Dr. Pepper, Ross Stores, Dairy Queen, and Chick-fil-A.
The heartfelt post on Kelley’s Instagram also included details about her forthcoming memorial service, which will be held in her hometown of Cincinnati.

“She would want all of you to know just how deeply she loves you. And as her sister, I want everyone to understand how incredibly brave she was, especially when she made the courageous decision to reunite with God. I am so immensely proud of her,” Kelley’s sister concluded with heartfelt emotion.
Kelley is survived by her loving parents, Kristen and Lindsay Klebenow; her sister Kathryn and brother Parker; her grandparents Lois and Larry Klebenow; as well as her boyfriend Logan Lanier.
