Kelley Mack’s Family Hosts Celebration of Life After Her Passing


Kelley Mack‘s loved ones are coming together.

Three weeks after The Walking Dead alum died following a battle with a rare form of cancer, her sister shared how their family is honoring her life. 

Kathryn Klebenow announced in an Aug. 23 Instagram post that Kelley’s friends and colleagues are invited to her “Los Angeles Celebration of Life” on Sept. 7.

The ceremony will take place three weeks after a remembrance was held in her home state of Ohio on Aug. 16, according to the formal announcement of Kelley’s death on Aug. 4.  

The actress, who portrayed Addy in season nine of the AMC series, was diagnosed with glioma of the central nervous system. She passed away peacefully at age 33 with her mother Kristen Klebenow and aunt Karen Klebenow by her side.

The announcement reflected on the actress’ dedication in her personal and professional life.

“Kelley was known for her warmth, creativity, and unwavering support for those around her,” her family’s statement explained. “She cherished time with her family and friends, finding joy in collaboration and storytelling. Her infectious enthusiasm and dedication to her work inspired countless others in the industry and beyond.”
