In an exciting promotional clip for Season 29 of The Voice, the accomplished singer and long-time panelist, Kelly Clarkson, showcases a stunning new look with a chic, side-parted wispy bob hairstyle.
“This time, we’ve got some exciting tricks up our sleeve. Get ready, y’all!” Clarkson enthusiastically states in the promotional footage, confidently sporting a striking bold red lip that pairs beautifully with her black and white menswear-inspired outfit.

This latest hairstyle represents a bold shift away from her usual long blonde locks, which she recently wore during a captivating performance in Las Vegas while headlining her residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
The beloved pop icon is set to return as a coach on NBC’s The Voice for the upcoming season titled The Voice: Battle of Champions, scheduled to premiere in spring 2026.
After taking time off to relocate her acclaimed talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, to New York City, Clarkson will be filming the competition series while continuing her talk show duties.
She last served as a coach during Season 23, and fans are eager to see her back in action.

The upcoming series promises a revamped format, featuring coaches who will each lead 10 talented artists on their teams. This season will introduce four exciting rounds, each offering a unique twist never seen before on The Voice, as highlighted in a recent network press release.
During the Blinds, contestants will face off in the Triple Turn Competition, where the winner will gain a significant advantage in the following round, adding a layer of strategy and excitement.
As the competition heats up in the Battles, the coach with the highest number of three-chair turns will automatically secure a Super Steal, a powerful tool that can only be used once and will override any other coach’s attempt to steal a contestant.
“All-stars will represent their former coaches as they engage in thrilling head-to-head sing-offs. The coach with the most victories in these sing-offs will secure a second finalist spot in the grand finale,” the press release elaborated.
“For this special episode, original Voice coach CeeLo Green will join the competition, taking on the role of judge to determine the victor of each All-Star Showdown,” the announcement continued to detail.

“I can’t believe we’ve reached our 1,000th episode. It’s unbelievable!” Clarkson expressed during the celebration. “We’ve encountered some incredibly talented individuals, numerous big-name stars, and inspiring everyday heroes along the way.”
During the show, Kelly reflected on the strong community she has built with her fans: “We’ve created a supportive environment where we lift each other through the highs and lows,” she said, implying that her own journey has been filled with challenges as well.
“I’ve [been] experienced loss and loneliness. It’s okay… Throughout this journey, we’ve found solace in each other. Looking back, I feel an immense sense of pride in what we’ve accomplished together and the community we’ve fostered,” she added.
“I am deeply thankful to everyone who has played a role in this incredible journey. It has truly been a remarkable experience. Thank you all so much.”
