Despite the ?Breakaway? singer sharing that she is currently ?enjoying being single,? she revealed that her children, River, 10, and Remington, 8?whom she co-parents with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock?are not enthusiastic about the prospect of her re-entering the dating world. 

?They frequently express, ?Please, we don?t want you with anyone else,?? Kelly shared during her Nov. 15 appearance on KOST 103.5. ?At their young ages, it?s challenging for them to envision their mother with someone other than their father.?

While Kelly, who filed for divorce from Brandon in 2020 after a seven-year marriage, mentioned that she is currently thriving in her single life, she clarified that she does not intend to adhere to her children’s sentiments regarding her dating choices. 

As Kelly articulated, ?I have communicated, ?Hey, I love you both, but Mommy needs love too.??

Nevertheless, the Kelly Clarkson Show host highlighted that she is not actively seeking a serious relationship at this time.
