Kids River and Remington of Kelly Clarkson in Rare Photo

Kelly Clarkson’s Children River and Remington Appear So Grown Up in Rare Family Photo

Kelly Clarkson has been looking forward to a moment like this.

The singer shared a classic New York City holiday tradition with her children River Rose, 11, and Remington, 9, taking them to skate outside the Rockefeller Center, where she films The Kelly Clarkson Show.

In a family photo posted on Instagram on November 30, Kelly wore a white pom-pom beanie and a fur-lined black coat as she hit the ice. River—bundled up in a purple coat and a hot pink beanie—smiled happily while her brother Remington, who wore a blue coat with a yellow hat and a lightning bolt-print shirt, waved at the camera.

Kelly captioned the sweet photo, “Ice skating at 30 Rock with the family.”

However, for the 43-year-old, who shares both children with her late ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, parenthood can sometimes leave her feeling breathless.

“I look at my daughter constantly,” Kelly told Mariska Hargitay  in an October episode of the Kelly Clarkson Show, “and I’m just like, ‘Look, I’m trying my best.”
