Kiefer Sutherland Shows Holiday Spirit in New ‘Tinsel Town’ Look

Transitioning from one season to the next can be challenging, but with a genre-crossing star like Kiefer Sutherland leading the way, things become much easier. With Halloween behind us and the holiday season approaching, we look to The Lost Boys star for inspiration on how to fully embrace the shift. Thankfully, in his upcoming movie, Tinsel Town, Sutherland will do just that. Today, as part of Collider’s Exclusive Preview event, we have a first-look image of the film directed by Chris Foggin (Bank of Dave) that showcases Sutherland’s washed-up action star, Bradley Mack, who’s on a quest for familial redemption during a season that promises goodwill to all.

Standing in the center of a stage in front of a large audience, Sutherland’s character, Bradley, is seen with a microphone in one hand while the other tightly grips a giant stuffed snowman. Looking somewhat unhinged, it appears that the festive spirit has caught up with the ex-star as he addresses the crowd.

Our exclusive image aligns with what we already know about the film from its synopsis. With Sutherland’s character at the center of the story, we understand that the movie will follow the one-time star as he travels to a small English village to mend his broken bond with his estranged daughter. Using his background in the arts as his guide, Bradley will assist the town in organizing their Christmas pageant and rediscovering the true meaning of the season. Along the way, he’ll collaborate with a strong-willed and opinionated choreographer (Rebel Wilson) and get to know community members who eagerly seek his acting advice.
