Kimora Lee Simmons Returns to Reality TV: Here’s Why

Kimora Lee Simmons is shifting back into gear.

The reality TV alum is heading back to screens with her new show, Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane, premiering on E! on Dec. 2. However, for the 50-year-old, whose new show marks her first in over a decade, it wasn’t quite the lane change she was expecting.

“I feel like people around me are like, ‘Oh god, you’re so crazy,’” she told E! News in an exclusive interview. “‘This is so much going on. You should have cameras. And I was like, ‘Yeah, I’ve been there, done that.’ But people are like, ‘No, no, I’m really serious.’”

And soon, it became more than just words. “That ‘I’m really serious’ talk becomes a ‘here we go, we just need you to have a little meeting,’” Kimora explained. “And I’m like, ‘Really?’”

After all, Kimora has a lot going on as a mom to five: the designer shares daughters Ming Lee Simmons, 25, and Aoki Lee Simmons, 23, with ex-husband Russell Simmons, 16-year-old son Kenzo Lee Hounsou with Djimon Hounsou, 10-year-old son Wolfe Lee with ex-husband Tim Leissner, as well as 15-year-old son Gary Lee, whom she adopted in 2020.
