
Jennifer Lopez is receiving significant Oscar buzz for her performance in the new movie <em>Kiss of the Spider Woman</em>, and she has disclosed that the film wouldn’t have been made without her ex Ben Affleck.
The 56-year-old entertainer portrays Aurora in the film adaptation of the 1993 Broadway musical, which earned lead actress Chita Rivera a Tony Award.
In a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning, JLo shared Ben‘s contribution to the film.

“The movie wouldn’t have been made if it wasn’t for him and Artists Equity…I will always give him that credit. They financed it,” Jennifer stated regarding Ben and his production company.
“I told him this was the role I was born to play and I wanted to do it, and he was like, ‘OK,’ and he helped make it happen,” she added.
Jennifer, Ben, and Matt Damon are all executive producers on the project, which is set to be released in theaters on October 10. Watch the trailer now!
