KJ Apa is sharing his thoughts on body hair and explaining why he chose not to shave for his role in the new Prime Video film The Map That Leads to You.

The 28-year-old actor, recognized for his role in The CW’s Riverdale, exposes his butt in a shower scene in the new movie.

During his appearance on Andy Cohen‘s SiriusXM radio show, the host playfully mentioned the scene.

KJ, of course, won’t say it, but I’m going to mention something that might intrigue many of you contemplating whether to see the movie,” Andy commented. “You can very clearly see KJ’s backside in the film.”

KJ responded, “It’s hairy, too … I wasn’t aware that day that I would be showing my butt. If I had known, perhaps I would’ve shaved it.”

He elaborated, “Originally [co-star Madelyn Cline] was supposed to be naked in the shower, but then something happened that day, and I volunteered to do it,”
