Zara Larsson has been releasing chart-topping pop hits since 2008, but her 2015 song “Lush Life” has recently surged in popularity due to a TikTok trend featuring a dance she created.

Korn unexpectedly benefited from TikTok users attempting to create a dance mashup that surprisingly worked well despite the differing musical styles.

About Korn’s ‘Freak on a Leash’

Korn’s “Freak on a Leash” first appeared on their 1998 album, Follow the Leader, and was released as a single in February 1999.

The song was accompanied by a highly successful music video directed by Spawn creator Todd McFarlane, which combined animation with live-action performance. The video was so popular that it was retired from MTV’s TRL fan-voted countdown and later won the Best Rock Video award at the MTV VMAs, as well as a Grammy for Best Short Form Music Video.

The song peaked at No. 6 on Alternative Airplay and No. 10 on Mainstream Rock charts while also receiving a Grammy nomination for Best Hard Rock Performance.
