Korn Classic Goes Viral on TikTok with Swedish Pop Star

Korn’s “Freak on a Leash” is gaining popularity again, thanks in part to a Swedish pop star.

Zara Larsson has been releasing chart-topping pop hits since 2008, but her 2015 song “Lush Life” has recently surged in popularity due to a TikTok trend featuring a dance she created.

Larsson even posted a TikTok video demonstrating how to perform the dance. You can watch both her tutorial and a recent fan-recorded live performance to see how the dance is executed.

The windmill-style arm movements evoke Pete Townshend’s iconic windmill stage move, making it easy to see how it connects with something heavier than Larsson’s pop sound.

As fans began pairing Korn’s “Freak on a Leash” with Larsson’s dance, it gradually gained traction on the platform, with users trying to replicate the dance to Jonathan Davis and the band’s intense breakdown.
