Kristen Doute has officially embraced motherhood!
On Friday, June 13, the talented 42-year-old actress known for her role in The Valley joyfully announced the arrival of her first child with fiancé Luke Broderick. The couple welcomed their beautiful baby girl on Wednesday, June 11, and their excitement is palpable.
“She’s finally here, and it feels surreal,” Kristen shared with Us Weekly. “Luke looks even more attractive as a dad, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have this little one. Despite not having slept or showered for two days, holding our daughter makes every moment worthwhile. We are completely overwhelmed with love and gratitude—our lives have changed in the most beautiful way.”

Kristen and Luke, who is 34 years old, have lovingly named their daughter Kaia Lily. The name Kaia, which means “the sea” in Hawaiian, reflects the couple’s deep affection for the Aloha State, where they got engaged in September 2024 after sharing two wonderful years together.
“We were determined to choose a baby name that resonates with water,” Kristen elaborated. “Lillies hold a special place in my heart as my favorite flower. They symbolize new beginnings and beauty, and the name Lily embodies a gentle and compassionate nature, indicating a kind and caring personality.”
