The 39-year-old actress, who plays Lady Edith, and the 36-year-old actor, who portrays Andrew Parker, got married, as confirmed in a new TV special.
The couple briefly acknowledged their romance on NBC’s Downton Abbey Celebrates The Grand Finale, which aired Wednesday (September 10).
“I owe a lot to this show. I think so much of my life has been shaped around this show,” Michael said as co-star Lesley Nicol asked the couple: “What if someone said you’re actually going to find your wife and have a child? Life-changing stuff.”
“I know,” the couple responded, with Michael adding: “It’s incredible.”
The two first sparked dating speculation all the way back in 2016.
Not only are they married, but they also have a child together! They reportedly welcomed their baby in 2021, according to Today. Congratulations to the happy couple!
