    SVU' Pulls Upcoming Episode Featuring Timothy Busfield After Recent Child Sexual Abuse Allegations

    Law & Order: SVU is no longer airing an upcoming episode.

    The long-running NBC drama was set to air a new episode THIS Thursday (January 15) that featured Timothy Busfield as a guest star; however, following recent allegations brought against him, the series has pulled the episode, according to Deadline.

    Instead, the series will move up the episode that was going to debut the following week.

    This news comes just days after an arrest warrant was issued for Timothy by the Albuquerque Police Department, with charges of unlawful sexual conduct with two boys, 11-year-old twins, with one minor alleging that the incidents began when he was 7, on the set of The Cleaning Lady.

    Warner Bros Television, which produced the former Fox series, has released a statement in response to the allegations.

    Timothy‘s wife, Melissa Gilbert, has since deactivated her Instagram account following the allegations. She was reportedly on the speakerphone with her husband when he was on a phone interview with authorities.
