What do we know about Sam Claflin’s next projects?
Prime Video has announced that the series Lazarus, based on a story by Harlan Coben, will officially begin streaming its six episodes on Wednesday, October 22. Additionally, the streamer has shared photos from the mystery thriller series, showcasing the first look at its main cast led by Claflin as Joel Lazarus.
This series is based on an original story idea and is written by New York Times best-selling author Harlan Coben and Danny Brocklehurst, both of whom are serving as executive producers. The cast also features Bill Nighy as Dr. Jonathan Lazarus, Alexandra Roach as Jenna Lazarus, David Fynn as Seth McGovern, Karla Crome as Bella Catton, and Kate Ashfield as Detective Alison Brown.
According to the official logline, “The show follows Joel Lazarus, who returns home after his father, Dr. Jonathan Lazarus, dies by suicide and begins to have disturbing experiences that can’t be explained. He quickly becomes entangled in a series of cold-case murders as he grapples with the mystery of his father’s death and his sister’s murder 25 years ago.”
In addition to Lazarus, Claflin will also appear in the crime thriller film All the Devils Are Here, which will debut on September 26 in select theaters and on digital platforms. The trailer for the movie has been released, featuring four criminals who must stay at a remote safe house after a heist. While waiting for their next orders, paranoia builds as they begin to suspect each other’s loyalty.
