    Batman returns in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, a new game in the block-built spinoff of the classic DC Comics crusader. Like other LEGO games, LEGO Batman takes characters, settings, and concepts from other franchises, building on their foundations with a cartoonish tone and clever gameplay concepts.

    Announced last night at The Game Awards, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is now confirmed for a 2026 release. We also got a look at its preorder structure, available editions, bonuses, and its gameplay, including its cast of characters. Here’s everything we know so far about the next entry in the LEGO Batman saga.

    As of last night’s Game Awards announcement, we now know that LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be released on May 29, 2026. Players who preorder the Deluxe Edition will receive three days of early access, meaning their launch date will be set for May 26. That’s just over five months from this announcement, which was revealed in a gameplay trailer (seen above) announced by LEGO Batman himself.

    As the trailer reveals, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will feature an expansive campaign that tracks Batman’s origin story. You’ll also be able to select from a variety of playable characters, drive more than 20 vehicles, and collect over 250 props and trophies for display in the Batcave.

    LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight è disponibile in due edizioni per tutte le piattaforme: Standard e Deluxe.
