Leighton Meester is set to tug at fans’ heartstrings once more.
The Gossip Girl star hinted at a potential return to music, over 11 years after the release of her debut album, Heartstrings.
“I’m just about ready,” Leighton exclusively told E! News The Rundown’s Erin Lim Rhodes on the red carpet at the I Love LA premiere in Los Angeles on Oct. 28. “But it’s a lot. It takes a lot, so I don’t know. I’ll do it eventually.”
In the meantime, Leighton is concentrating on her television projects, which include her recent appearance on Netflix’s Nobody Wants This and her role as Alyssa in I Love LA, premiering on HBO Max on Nov. 2, costarring Rachel Sennott, Josh Hutcherson, Jordan Firstman, and Odessa A’zion.
For the Country Strong actress, filming the comedy series was a memorable experience from day one.
“My first day of the first episode, we had a night shoot with a stripper,” Leighton recalled, jokingly adding, “I got a long, long, all-night-long lap dance.”
