Amaya Espinal is confirming she is now single, just days after the Love Island USA season seven reunion!

Fan speculation of a split between Amaya Papaya and Bryan Arenales, the winning couple of the season, arose after they noticed they unfollowed each other just before the reunion aired.

Now, Amaya has taken to her Instagram story to confirm the breakup news on Wednesday (August 27).

“My papayas – Bryan and I are no longer together. After leaving the villa, it became very clear that we were on two different journeys,” she wrote. “Our visions didn’t align and relationships are supposed to be a team sport. You don’t have to drink the whole sea to know it’s salty.”

“All love her and I truly wish him the best. – Amaya Papaya,” she added.

At the time of this post, Bryan has not spoken out.

During the reunion, the now former couple addressed past cheating rumors after a club appearance and noted they had talked it out and all was good. They also seemed very much into the relationship when the reunion was filmed a few weeks ago.

Amaya and Bryan won Love Island USA season seven, with him getting the envelope with the $100,000 prize. He then decided to split it with Amaya, and they previously said they wanted to use the money to give back to the community and donate to those in need.
