Janelle Brown from Sister Wives Reveals Daughter Madison Brush Hasn’t Communicated with Father Kody Brown for Years
An olive branch is being extended in Kody Brown‘s family tree.
Madison Brush—one of the Sister Wives star’s six children with ex Janelle Brown—expressed the possibility of ending her yearslong estrangement with her father, who separated from her mother in 2022 after nearly 30 years together. She emphasized what it would take to make amends.
“I am open to reconciliation and forgiveness and closure,” the 30-year-old shared on November 30 during the TLC series. “But if he ever wanted to be let back into our lives, there would need to be a pattern of consistency.”
Janelle agreed, stating in a confessional, “It would be a lot for Kody to make amends.”
Still, the 56-year-old believes “families can be apart but still have cohesion,” noting how the father of 18 had been cordial in recent months and had recently expressed interest in reconnecting.
“He’s like, ‘I want to come out to Raleigh and go to dinner with you,'” Janelle told Madison, who is a mother to four young children with husband Caleb Brush. “I suspect it has something to do with the family and the kids.”
