The star of Southern Charm responded to public criticism regarding her pool area, which many felt lacked adequate safety measures for her 12-year-old son Hudson and newborn daughter Teddi, who was born on July 3. Madison emphasized her awareness of the concerns expressed by her followers, stating, “I totally get the concern,” in a candid Instagram Story posted on July 18. She reassured everyone that by the time Teddi begins to crawl, all necessary safety measures will be fully implemented to ensure the safety of her children.

At 34 years old, Madison specifically addressed a comment from a concerned critic who suggested she install a safety fence or pool cover, citing a photo she shared showcasing her inground pool. In her response, she pointed out, “It’s summer,” and firmly stated, “So no, we’re not putting a cover on the pool right now,” highlighting the importance of enjoying the season while considering safety.

While Madison may not have been receptive to the suggestion of a pool cover, she reassured her audience that she is taking significant steps to enhance the safety of her backyard for both Hudson—her son with ex-partner Josh Hughes—and little Teddi, who she shares with her husband, Brett Randle.
