Almost three weeks have passed since the tragic accidental drowning of the esteemed Cosby Show star, and his mother, Pamela Warner, has taken to social media to express her heart-wrenching feelings regarding his untimely departure.

“It goes without saying that our hearts are heavy with the immense loss of Malcolm,” she began in a heartfelt Instagram post on August 8. “He embodied kindness and love, possessing a remarkable heart dedicated to humanity. He believed in the power within each individual, encouraging everyone to recognize their inner strength and to strive for success, achievement, and transformative growth.”

Describing her son, who was only 54 years old, as an “exceptional” individual, Pamela further reflected, “He was not only my son; he was my teacher, coach, confidant, business partner, and my closest friend. He was the son that his father loved fiercely and was immensely proud of, providing him with unconditional love and support.”

“Malcolm has left an indelible imprint on the world and in the hearts of countless individuals,” she remarked. “Everyone who had the privilege of meeting him, even for a fleeting moment, was enriched by that encounter. As his mother, there are countless things I could share that would fill volumes. Yet, what stands out the most is how incredibly blessed I feel that he chose me to be his mother, entering this world through the waters of my womb.”
