In addition to those stars, Marvel Zombies will also feature the voice of Todd Williams, who plays Blade in place of Mahershala Ali. Other stars in the series include Hudson Thames as Spider-Man, along with a variety of yet-to-be-announced actors.
The series is directed by Bryan Andrews from a screenplay written by Zeb Wells, who is also serving as an executive producer. It is inspired by the fifth episode from Season 1 of What If…?, where the MCU films Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) culminated in a zombie apocalypse. In a press release, Andrews hinted that the show will feature “more hardcore” and “pretty wild” zombie sequences, differing from what was shown in What If…?
Marvel Zombies is set to premiere on Disney+ on September 24, 2025.
