Masika Kalysha Responds To Backlash After Her Husband’s Passing & Comments On Viral Funeral Photos

In videos shared by LiveBitez, Masika Kalysha clarified her relationship with Jamar, stating that regardless of public perception, she is still mourning his loss. She mentioned that she and Jamar Champ had “separated two years” prior to his passing and had been co-parenting their daughter.

Masika also addressed the photos from Jamar’s funeral that surfaced online. She explained that she had requested a photographer to capture moments during Jamar’s balloon release and wanted family pictures before the funeral. The reality star also responded to those who claimed she wasn’t crying in the funeral images, explaining that she didn’t need to cry at that moment, but has been in tears since Jamar’s passing.

“And I’ve cried every single f*****g day. I’ve cried more in my entire life in these past 33 days than I have in 33 years,” Masika shared.

Masika Seemingly Discusses Moving On After Losing Her Husband

Masika Kalysha then responded to critics who accused her of moving on too quickly. She emphasized that she is still managing Jamar’s affairs and reminded everyone that they were not together before his death. She added that just because they weren’t together does not mean his death hasn’t impacted her.

“That means I’m not supposed to grieve. That means I’m not supposed to hurt. That means I’m supposed to want this to happen?” She added, “This is the absolute last thing that I ever would’ve wanted.”

Masika’s response to online criticism seems to coincide with videos of her and HoodTrophy Bino circulating on social media. What began as a playful shoutout on Instagram evolved into a steamy studio session, along with more footage of them appearing quite cozy in bed.
