The 28-year-old F1 driver made quite the comeback in the second half of the 2025 season, gaining ground on his competitors and making it a three-way battle going into the final race of the year.
Max, who drives for Oracle Red Bull Racing, is the four-time reigning champion, having picked up the title for the past four seasons, and is looking to clinch his fifth.

Max has been dating Kelly Piquet for the past five years, going Instagram official on January 1, 2021.
Throughout the years, Kelly has been in attendance at many of Max‘s races and has been by his side for several wins too. She even celebrated his pole position after qualifying on Saturday (December 6) during the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend, and they were seen sharing a kiss. See the gallery for pics!
Kelly is no stranger to Formula 1 as her father is three-time Drivers’ Champion Nelson Piquet. Her brothers Pedro and Nelson Jr are also race car drivers.
Before the final race of the 2024 season, Max and Kelly announced that they were expecting their first child together. Kelly also shares six-year-old daughter Penelope with her ex, former F1 driver Daniil Kyvat.
On May 2, 2025, Max and Kelly shared the first pics of their newborn daughter and revealed her name in a joint Instagram post.
“Welcome to the world, sweet Lily! Our hearts are fuller than ever – you are our greatest gift. We love you so much,” he wrote. Check out the pics HERE!
