In a recent interview, Dave Franco and Mason Thames reminisced about watching the 35-year-old entertainer’s “Wildest Dreams” video, which showcases their co-star Scott Eastwood as her love interest.

“Scott, I don’t know if you’re aware, but did anyone inform you that we all watched the ‘Wildest Dreams’ video on set?” Dave asked during a joint interview with AP News, to which Scott responded, “No.”

Mason added, “I remember that! We all did.”

“Mckenna didn’t realize that you were the guy. This is a video that means a lot to her, and she figured it out in the moment: Scott is the guy from the ‘Wildest Dreams’ video,” Dave continued. “She immediately called her mom. She exclaimed, ‘Scott’s the guy.’ And we could hear her mom on the phone saying, ‘No!’ You have a special place in many people’s hearts with that video.”

Scott recounted how Taylor simply called him to invite him to be in the video.

“I’d never met Taylor Swift before. She called me unexpectedly. She said, ‘Hey this is Taylor.’ I thought, Taylor, who?” he remembered.

During their joint interview, Mason shared, “I told Scott this on our first day together: before I knew him, I thought he was the best-looking man I’d ever seen.”

Back in 2017, Scott revealed that his team was against him starring in the video, but he genuinely wanted to participate!
