Megadeth’s farewell tour is officially underway, with the band performing at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria, British Columbia, to kick off a Canadian leg of shows. We have the setlist and some fan-shot videos to share.
What Songs Did Megadeth Perform at Their 2026 Farewell Tour Kickoff?
The performance was heavily focused on hits, featuring a 17-song set that primarily showcased their back catalog. Although the band recently released their self-titled final studio album, only two songs from that album were included in the performance. The lead single, “Tipping Point,” opened the concert, while the punk-influenced “I Don’t Care” followed six songs later.

What Are Megadeth’s Farewell Plans and Tour Dates?
The thrash giants first announced their plans for a final tour last August when they revealed their last studio album, Megadeth. The album has since been released, and they have added several legs to their 2026 tour itinerary, most of which will feature headlining shows.
Their first tour of the year begins in mid-February and will cover various cities in Canada with support from Anthrax and Exodus. They will also travel to Latin America, Europe, and then return to North America to support Iron Maiden on their 50th anniversary Run for Your Lives tour.
The group will even perform in Kazakhstan for the first time during this farewell run.
“We’re easily talking about touring for another three to five years,” Dave Mustaine told Kerrang! in late 2025.
