Meghan Markle is demonstrating that capes are not just for superheroes.
The Duchess of Sussex made a stylish entrance at Paris Fashion Week 2025, wearing a dramatic floor-length cape during her debut appearance at the Balenciaga runway show on Oct. 4.
This breezy accessory complemented an all-white outfit, which featured a button-down shirt and matching slacks. The 44-year-old completed her look with a black clutch and black heels, opting for a minimalist makeup style and styling her hair in a slicked-back bun.
Although Meghan has attended numerous New York Fashion Week and Toronto Fashion Week events over the years, this marked her first appearance at Paris Fashion Week in support of Balenciaga’s new creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, whom she has “long admired for his craftsmanship and modern elegance.”
“Over the years, the Duchess has worn several designs by Pierpaolo,” Meghan’s spokesperson shared with People. “This evening represents the culmination of many years of artistry and friendship, reflected in her support for his new creative chapter at Balenciaga.”
