Jason Ritter is facing a challenge in understanding Melanie Lynskey’s mysterious demeanor.
The talented actor from Matlock has shared that his wife of five years keeps her character’s plot details for the second season of Poker Face under wraps. This is particularly intriguing since he is also making a guest appearance in this latest season of the popular Peacock series.
“I do ask,” Jason revealed in an exclusive interview with Will Marfuggi and Erin Lim Rhodes during the E! livestream event celebrating the Poker Face Season Two Premiere on May 1. “But she just doesn’t tell me.”
At 45 years old, Jason explained that Melanie, now 47, adheres strictly to her policy of maintaining secrecy when it comes to revealing any plot twists about the television shows he’s interested in watching.
“Even though I will forget all spoilers by the time I’m watching,” he humorously noted, “it doesn’t ever bother me. But I still don’t get any spoilers.”
Although Jason expressed that he wouldn’t mind having a peek into the storyline, Melanie believes she is doing her partner a favor by keeping him in the dark about the thrilling developments during her time on this engaging crime comedy. The new season, premiering on May 8, promises an exciting mystery in each episode, as Natasha Lyonne’s detective character, Charlie Cale, takes on new challenges.
