Shortly after the clip was reshared by The Shade Room, she released an exclusive statement to the outlet to clarify her claims regarding the messy boots moment.

Sierra Gates Asserts She Has Proof of Mendeecees Cheating on Yandy Smith

Let’s delve into the details of what Sierra Gates initially revealed! She kicked off her social media video by stating that she typically focuses on her business endeavors, but recently spotted Mendeecees with a married woman named Angie. Sierra claimed to have seen the pair together in “a few other places” and even mentioned having “pictures too.” This unexpected revelation about Angie prompted Sierra to step out of her usual business mindset. Gates accused this mystery woman of creating turmoil due to her clandestine infidelity.

“…but tonight you really tried it…like how you gon’ want to be a cheater and be scared that your husband gon’ find out. You just caused so much commotion tonight. Somebody could’ve ended up shot…in jail. It was so much,” Sierra Gates stated.

As the video progressed, Sierra elaborated on an incident involving her husband, Xzavia Thomas, and some bodyguards. She also claimed to possess screenshots of Mendeecees admitting that he and Angie are concealing an affair from her husband. Furthermore, she mentioned telling Mendeecees to back off at a certain point, which seemingly escalated whatever the conflict was.

In a detailed four-paragraph statement to The Shade Room, she addressed her “supporters and the public.” Gates revealed that she has had discussions with Yandy Smith regarding the incident with Angie. However, she did not retract her allegations of cheating nor did she mention Angie again. Additionally, she did not disclose Yandy’s reaction to the shocking news.

Gates also articulated that the incident served as a reminder of why she values time spent with family, her husband, and solitary moments over attending the often chaotic “IG parties.” She acknowledged that while she has been focusing on her upcoming ventures, she allowed “negativity to win” after someone provoked her. Sierra expressed that the incident and video do not reflect the individual she has worked hard to become and that, in hindsight, she regrets her actions. “I’m human. I was triggered,” she wrote, emphasizing her protective instincts for her loved ones, including her husband and children.

“People will think and judge how they want, but in a couple of days, none of this will matter. My focus is back on my purpose, my family, and the incredible things we’re building.”

As it stands, The Shade Room has yet to confirm whether Mendeecees is engaged in a romantic affair, particularly with a woman named Angie. However, speculation surrounding his relationship with Yandy Smith has swirled over the past two years.

In August 2024, they drew viral attention after a televised couples’ therapy session revealed Mendeecees adamantly refusing to wear his wedding ring. Two months later, ‘Love & Hip Hop ATL’ star Jasmine Bleu, the mother of Kirk Frost’s child from an affair, accused Mendeecees of being unfaithful. This confrontation occurred in front of Yandy, with Jasmine alleging that he had visited her workplace, a strip club, accompanied by another woman. He denied the allegations during the episode.

A few days following the episode’s airing, Mendeecees went viral for sharing a post of a curvy woman showcasing her physique on his Snapchat. Yandy intervened, claiming that the post was a means for them to earn additional income. “Cuz that’s how we pay our mortgage and car notes. Snap pays well. Please go look at his snap 32 more times. Lol ain’t that right,” she responded to another Instagram user.

In March, Yandy and Mendeecees gained attention due to a confusing televised discussion regarding whether he had direct messaged another woman. Spoiler alert: Yandy claimed on national television that she was the one DM’ing the woman from his account. Subsequently, their son humorously claimed that it was him who had done it, which turned the whole situation into a larger internet joke. 

Rasheeda and Kirk Frost have also put forth allegations regarding Yandy and her relationship. For instance, they both asserted that Smith is not legally married to Mendeecees as of April of this year.

“If y’all got an open relationship, just say it. Instead of us thinking you’re cheating, cause he’s really not cheating if it’s not what we think.
