Cougars basketball legend Otis Birdsong has high expectations for him, expressing to TMZ Sports, “He’s already something special.” This statement highlights the immense potential that Miller possesses as he continues to develop his skills on the court.

In a recent conversation at LAX, Birdsong elaborated on how Mercy has diligently learned from head coach Kelvin Sampson during his freshman year. Birdsong emphasized the value of patience in coach Sampson’s program, saying that Miller had to earn his place by understanding the system and adapting to the team’s ethos.
