That’s a wrap on Milan Fashion Week. Running from September 23-28, this season’s 6-day Milanese event has proven to be one for the books. From the highly anticipated debut of Louise Trotter at Bottega Veneta to Miranda Priestley sitting front row at Dolce & Gabbana – here’s an overview of the second portion of the Spring 2026 season of MFW.
At Roberto Cavalli, designer Fausto Puglisi dialed up the sultry glamour, sending an array of shimmering ensembles down the runway (worn by the likes of Amelia Gray and Karen Elson). Staged within Milan’s historic Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, Dario Vitale made his debut as Versace creative director. The designer sought inspiration from Gianni’s early collections, serving up a reinterpretation of classic Versace codes (and received a lashing from our forum members in the process). Maximilian Davis dropped his Ferragamo collection, which boasted flowy, airy silhouettes and silk ribbons that draped around the shoulders or tied at the waist.
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana ultimately picked up from where their menswear collection left off, dressing models in luxurious slumberwear. On fine display at the debut of Louise Trotter at Bottega Veneta was exaggerated outerwear, fringe, frayed skirts, oversized clutches, and kitten heel flip-flops. To poetically close out MFW, the Giorgio Armani showcase was an emotional tribute to the late Italian designer who passed away earlier this month.
