Get ready for a major throwback — Hannah Montana first aired nearly
20 years ago, and the beloved Disney Channel series is still making headlines in
2025.
Premiering on March
24,
2006,
the show became
a global phenomenon and launched Miley Cyrus into international stardom as Miley Stewart,
the teen living
a secret double life as pop star Hannah Montana.
Miley was just
12 years old when she stepped into the role,
and nearly two decades later,
she and the rest of the cast are fully grown,
living wildly different lives from their Disney days.

2011.

Since leaving Disney,
Miley has built a hugely successful music career with albums including Bangerz,
