He further described their relationship as a “God-given divine phenomenon,” highlighting its uniqueness and depth. “This love is unparalleled,” he insisted, affirming his belief that she is not just a partner but his ultimate destiny.

The engagement announcement arrived shortly after Weston’s mother, Christina Fulton, made headlines for her legal battles against both her son and Nicolas Cage. This situation adds complexity to the family’s current dynamics.
In a passionate Instagram post featuring two selfies with Canter, Weston declared, “I love you more than any man has ever loved in the history of humanity. That profound love grows stronger with every passing moment.”

Weston last married in 2018 to Hila Cage Coppola, and the couple welcomed twin daughters, Cypress and Venice, in 2020. However, they separated in September 2021, leading to a complicated family situation.
Weston and Hila finalized their divorce in July 2024 after a contentious court battle, with Hila being awarded sole legal and physical custody of their daughters, according to TMZ.
In May 2024, Weston faced legal troubles, having been arrested for allegedly assaulting his mother, Christina Fulton, highlighting ongoing family issues.
According to TMZ, Weston was charged with felony assault involving a deadly weapon, with law enforcement indicating he voluntarily surrendered. The arrest stemmed from an alleged physical confrontation with Fulton in April, during which she reportedly sustained visible injuries.
After Weston’s arrest, Fulton issued a statement, as reported by TMZ.
“On April 28, 2024, at approximately 5:30 PM, I received urgent messages from friends about Weston’s troubling mental state, prompting me to provide him support,” she recounted. “When I arrived to console him, he was already experiencing a manic rage, and I was violently assaulted, resulting in significant injuries.”

“Despite my desperate pleas to the responding police officers for them to detain him for a mental health evaluation, they ignored my requests and neglected my urgent need for medical attention,” she added. “As a mother, I am deeply saddened and concerned about Weston’s ongoing mental health crisis. It is vital that he receives the help he urgently requires.”
Last month, Fulton initiated a lawsuit against Nicolas Cage, accusing him of enabling their son’s violent behavior, which she claims stems from his history of mental health issues. She alleges this behavior led to her being assaulted. Fulton also claims that Cage contributed to their son’s substance abuse by frequently taking him out drinking. Additionally, she filed suit against Weston for assault, battery, negligence, and infliction of emotional distress. Weston’s attorney dismissed the lawsuit as a mere attempt for financial gain and public attention.
Meanwhile, TMZ caught up with Fulton outside a Los Angeles courthouse, where she expressed her prolonged feelings of heartbreak as a mother.
She claimed that the LAPD “left me on the ground bleeding” after her alleged assault in April.
Fulton emphasized her unwavering love for her son and her desire to assist him with his mental health struggles, but claims she has been “blocked” from doing so by her ex-partner.
When asked about her reasons for suing Nicolas Cage, she replied to TMZ, “I am holding everyone accountable for their actions.”
