Amal and George Clooney steal the spotlight at the Venice red carpet event
Amal and George Clooney were once again dressed to the nines on Thursday evening while attending the premiere of “Jay Kelly.” However, it was Amal who commanded the limelight by ditching her signature neutrals for a bright shade for the evening.
For the Venice date night with her husband, the human rights lawyer stepped out in a fuchsia pink taffeta gown. She chose a vintage Jean-Louis Scherrer dress. The ruched, strapless mini dress had full-length button detailing in the front. Adding more drama, the train, attached at the hips, extended to the floor. As per Page Six, the dress is from the house’s Fall 1995 collection.
To complete her chic look, the philanthropist wore gold, strappy Aquazzura sandals, and flaunted a matching metallic Jimmy Choo clutch. When it comes to jewelry, Amal Clooney opted for a minimalist approach, featuring a cocktail ring and tassel earrings, allowing the dress to take center stage. As for makeup, the mom of two kept it simple with pops of pink blush and brown lip liner. Wearing her hair in a side part, Amal showed off her highlights as well.
On the other hand, George Clooney went for a classy yet evergreen look. As per WMagazine, Clooney stepped out in a tuxedo jacket. He paired the jacket with matching pants. The pants had full-length satin stripe detailing on the sides, accentuating the craftsmanship of classic black polished shoes.
