Ryan Murphy‘s new series Monster: The Ed Gein Story, starring Charlie Hunnam in the lead role, will drop on Netflix this week and they just celebrated at a tastemaker dinner!

Ryan co-hosted the event with social media star Evan Ross Katz on Monday (September 29) at Monsieur in New York City.

In attendance were Charlie and co-stars Laurie Metcalf, Suzanna Son, Vicky Krieps, and Charlie Hall, plus co-creator and executive producer Ian Brennan and director Max Winkler. More guests included Micaela Diamond, Miles Heizer, Cheyenne Jackson, Marcos Fecchino, Ben Ahlers, Thor Shannon, and Stuart Winecoff.

Monster: The Ed Gein Story tells the story of how one simple man in Plainfield, Wisconsin became history’s most singular ghoul. He revealed to the world the most horrific truth of all — that monsters aren’t born, they’re made…by us.
