The video highlights Deku’s all-out epic battle against Shigaraki and All for One. It also features some of his friends and family’s reactions to the intense fight as Deku desperately pushes through his limits in order to save the world. The trailer also unveiled the show’s final opening theme song, titled “The Revo,” performed by rock band Pornograffitti, who performed the first season’s opening theme.

The anime takes place in a world where most people are born with powers called quirks. The story revolves around a quirkless but brave young boy named Izuku Midoriya aka Deku, who gets chosen to become the number one hero’s rightful successor of his power called One-For-All. The series chronicles his journey to becoming number one while facing grave threats from the League of Villains and All Might’s nemesis All-For-One.

At the moment, Legendary Entertainment is developing a live-action English adaptation of My Hero Academia directed by Shinsuke Sato from a screenplay being written by Joby Harold (Army of the Dead, Obi-Wan Kenobi). The project marks the Japanese filmmaker’s English-language directorial debut after working on live-action adaptations Kingdom and Bleach movies.
