During an engaging appearance on SiriusXM’s Really! With Rob Lowe, the members of Good Charlotte shared insights about their “strong counterparts,” highlighting the dynamic and supportive relationships they have with their spouses, while also humorously addressing their “healthy concern” for them.

Rob Lowe, aged 61, who has been happily married to Sheryl Berkoff since 1991, pointed out that he and his twin guests, both 46, are fortunate to be married to “strong women,” showcasing a common theme among them.

“I think also, when you consider the powerful women who are simply these forces of nature –,” Benji remarked, prompting Lowe to laugh in agreement, “Dude.” This exchange highlights the admiration and respect they have for their wives’ strength and influence.

“I believe all of our wives are fascinating in the fact that they also do not want to be with a pushover man,” Benji continued. “They still need a strong counterpart, but you must also check your ego at the door.” This statement reflects the necessity of balance in their relationships.

Joel revealed that he never believed “someone could keep him grounded” until he met Nicole Richie, emphasizing the transformative impact she has had on his life.

“I was a relationship guy, but then I met Nicole, and she completely runs the show,” he stated. “But we’re partners. There are aspects that I manage, yet there’s a whole part of my life that wouldn’t function effectively without her overseeing it.”

“She gave me a much deeper, richer life because of the aspects of my life that she manages, and I do the same for her,” he added. “I believe we work together seamlessly, but she’s strong. I respect her and feel a bit intimidated by her strength,” he concluded, reflecting the complexity of their relationship.

Benji agreed with his twin brother, adding, “It’s more than just a part of your life. It’s a complete foundation upon which everything else is built.”

“Cameron, when we met, it was like the world just aligned for me [right side up],” he shared. “Everything changed in an instant, and I felt complete.”
