This week has been filled with excitement due to the return of a cherished sitcom. Nostalgia is something we all adore, especially when it’s combined with one of the greatest television friendships ever. On Wednesday night, ABC welcomed viewers back to the polished floors of Sacred Heart Hospital, reuniting them with a host of familiar faces and personalities during the two-episode Season 10 premiere of <em>Scrubs</em>. This is a significant moment for series creator Bill Lawrence and cast members like Zach Braff, Donald Faison, and Sarah Chalke, who have faced inquiries about a reunion for over a decade. Today, as part of Collider’s Exclusive Preview event, we present a set of new images from the upcoming third episode, scheduled to arrive on March 4.

At its essence, Scrubs has always been a show about the human experience, and these images from next week’s episode reflect that. One photo shows Carla (Judy Reyes) and Elliot (Chalke) enjoying a few bottles of beer, while another features Turk (Faison) in the operating room with a group of newcomers. Additionally, there’s a heartwarming moment shared among several hospital staff members as they laugh at something on Eliot’s phone.

This is an incredibly exciting time to be a Scrubs fan. While reboots and revivals have become common in Hollywood in recent years, it’s rare to see more than a few original cast members return. However, Scrubs has exceeded expectations with its returning cast, demonstrating the strong bond the cast and crew had while working on the series originally. Among those returning for more medical antics are John C. McGinley, Robert Maschio, Neil Flynn, Phill Lewis, and Christa Miller.

In addition to many familiar faces reprising their roles, the casting team did an excellent job filling out the roster for the rest of the staff at Sacred Heart. The ensemble features a mix of industry veterans and rising stars, including talents like Joel Kim Booster (Fire Island), Vanessa Bayer (What We Do in the Shadows), Rachel Bilson (The O.C.), Jacob Dudman (Fate: The Winx Saga), Lisa Gilroy (Very Important People), Ava Bunn (Worked to Death), David Gridley (High Potential), Amanda Morrow (The Devil Wears Prada 2), Layla Mohammadi (Lioness) and Andy Ridings (The Other Two) among others.
