Peacock’s new TV and movie releases for August 25-31, 2025, include the premiere of Days of Our Lives Season 61 and the finales of Love Island: Beyond the Villa Season 1 and Twisted Metal Season 2.
Monday, August 25, 2025, sees the premiere of Days of Our Lives Season 61 on Peacock. This long-running soap opera was created by Betty and Ted Corday, Irna Phillips, and Allan Chase. It is set in the fictional town of Salem, Massachusetts, and primarily revolves around the Horton and Brady families.
Next, the finales of Love Island: Beyond the Villa Season 1 and Twisted Metal Season 2 drop on Peacock on Thursday, August 28, 2025. The former is a reality series that is a spin-off of Love Island USA and focuses on the lives and careers of Season 6 islanders. Meanwhile, the latter is an action comedy-drama series based on PlayStation’s vehicular combat video game franchise of the same name.
Also releasing on Peacock this week is Love Island USA Season 7 – Reunion.
Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen hosted the reunion. In this special episode, fans can expect to see Ace address a lot of things that he has been keeping to himself. Ace played a key role in several major plot points this season, particularly the heart rate challenge and Jeremiah’s dumping. The reunion will announce Season 7’s winners and fan-favorite couples. Furthermore, fans will get an in-depth personal look at the islanders’ experiences in the villa this season.
