NFL Moment with Travis Kelce and Josh Charles on Taylor Swift Set

The Mystery Matchmaker of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Finally Revealed in ‘End of an Era’ Docuseries

Josh Charles is not supporting Travis Kelce’s team, actually.

While discussing his role in Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” music video alongside Dead Poets Society co-star Ethan Hawke, the Good Wife alum revealed he confronted Taylor’s Kansas City Chiefs player boyfriend about his on-the-field behavior while on set.

“It wasn’t a fight,” Josh, a dedicated Baltimore Ravens fan, explained to Jimmy Fallon on the Jan. 5 episode of The Tonight Show. “I’ve always liked Travis Kelce, I just thought he was so cool. But that year, they beat us in the AFC Championship game—they beat the Ravens. He was a real jerk that year.”

Indeed, Josh said he took the chance to meet Travis on set to express exactly how he felt after watching the game.

“I said, ‘You know I’ve always liked you and this year you were kind of a d–k,’” Josh continued. “I said, ‘What was up with that?’”

And while Jimmy was surprised, calling Travis the most “lovable” person on Earth, Josh shared that the NFL star was open to his feedback.
