In a surprising turn of events, Nicki Minaj and Dez Bryant have successfully resolved their ongoing social media dispute.
The feud initially ignited due to Minaj’s outspoken criticism of Roc Nation, the management company representing Bryant throughout his illustrious football career.
The exchange quickly escalated, encompassing serious issues such as domestic violence, Minaj’s husband’s rape conviction, and even a challenge to engage in a physical confrontation.
Fortunately, both parties have found a way to de-escalate the situation. Bryant took to social media to express his sentiments: “On some G shit @nickiminaj I really don’t like the misunderstanding we had between each other… I apologize for bringing up your husband’s past… it’s a shame only negative things make headlines between two Black people who have much influence on our community. I’m at war with myself every day to better myself for my kids and the kids who are watching me and the last thing I want to do is argue over stupid shit. I pray for only peace and positivity your way.”
Minaj reciprocated the sentiment, stating: “The Lord will grant you peace, Dez. Nothing makes me respect somebody more than a public display of accountability. I accept your apology. I apologize as well if I offended you. If you still wanna do that fight lmk. He def got them hands. Seriously tho, all the best.”
Earlier, Bryant expressed regret to his followers for becoming embroiled in this unnecessary social media conflict.
He shared: “I’m not in the sphere of people crashing out on the internet. I don’t bother people..I never do. I was just posting about my son. I let the devil win that time…I apologize to the kids who follow me because I care about setting the right example more than you know..By the way..whenever people bring up my past..I want everybody to stop and think for 5 minutes..you can make it through anything if you put your mind to it..no matter how big the battle is…no excuses.”
The social media spat also caught the attention of 50 Cent, who made a humorous comment.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, 50 shared a screenshot of one of his collaborator’s tweets regarding Bryant, writing: “WTF going on here. Nikki be blacking out on these people LOL.”
