Nicola Peltz Beckham Allegedly Cried When Wedding Guest Marc Anthony Introduced Victoria Beckham

The wedding drama continues: The newlyweds’ first dance did not go as planned, and the reasons behind it remain unclear.

“Brooklyn and Nicola believed they were being gifted their first dance by Marc Anthony,” a source revealed to E! News in May 2025. Instead, the singer announced, “‘Please welcome to the stage the most beautiful woman in the room—Victoria Beckham.’ Brooklyn was unsure how to react and found himself in an awkward position.”

Additionally, the source mentioned, “Nicola left the room in tears. She eventually returned and managed to compose herself to enjoy the rest of her wedding.”

The situation did not seem to impact the groom’s family too severely, as David was still able to serve as best man at Marc’s wedding in January 2023, when he married his fourth wife Nadia Ferreira. However, it is understandable that the bride may have struggled to move past it.

Brooklyn and Nicola “have made sincere efforts over the years” to maintain a relationship with his family, according to the source, but currently, things are not going well.

In a seemingly unrelated note, Brooklyn referred to Nicola as his “whole world” in a May 2025 Instagram post, stating, “I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person I know xx me and you forever baby.”
