The entertainment industry is mourning the loss of Julian McMahon, a talented actor whose remarkable contributions to television captivated audiences worldwide.

Known for his unforgettable performances in popular TV series such as Nip/Tuck, Charmed, and FBI: Most Wanted, McMahon passed away on July 2 at his home in Florida, as confirmed by his wife, Kelly McMahon, in a heartfelt statement to Deadline. He was only 56 years old.

“With an open heart,” Kelly expressed on July 4, “I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer.”

Continuing her tribute, Kelly painted a picture of her late husband, whom she married in 2014, describing him as a man who “truly loved life.”

“He cherished his family, valued his friendships, and was passionate about his work,” she elaborated. “He had a deep love for his fans and always wished to bring joy into as many lives as possible.”

“During this difficult time, we kindly ask for support to allow our family to grieve in privacy,” Kelly concluded. “We hope that everyone whom Julian touched with his spirit continues to find joy in life. We are profoundly grateful for the cherished memories.”
