The beloved animated sitcom follows four foul-mouthed friends living in the fictional town of South Park. They regularly find themselves in misadventures, sometimes supernatural, other times satirically rooted in reality. Since it’s been a week since the previous episode aired, curiosity has grown about when a new one will drop.
Why is there no new episode of South Park Season 28 tonight?
South Park Season 28 follows a bi-weekly schedule; therefore, a new episode will not drop on November 19. Episode 3 aired last week, so the next one is expected to arrive on November 26, 2025. It will be available to watch on Paramount Plus the next day.
The previous episode, titled “Sora Not Sorry,” featured Butters’ AI revenge plan going awry, stirring massive troubles at school. It sets off a wave of fake videos, making it difficult for Detective Harris to distinguish between real and fake. At the time of writing, Season 28 Episode 4’s plot hasn’t been revealed.
In September 2025, when an episode of Season 27 missed its release window, showrunners Trey Parker and Matt Stone addressed the sudden delay and also shared an updated schedule for the latest season.

After Episode 4’s release on November 26, the finale will drop on December 10, per the release schedule, concluding this season’s run. Fans need not worry as the showrunners have renewed the show through Season 30.
