North West’s Fake Tattoos and Piercings: Kim Kardashian Speaks

Kim Kardashian is dropping hints that she’s unbothered.

The Kardashians star spoke out after her 12-year-old daughter North West—whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West—debuted a dramatic makeover consisting of fake face tattoos, a faux septum piercing and blue contact lenses, insisting that the preteen’s head-turning look was anything but radical.

After an Oct. 22 TikTok video alleged that North’s new look had sparked “worries” from fans, Kim, 45, commented from the official account she shares with her firstborn, writing, “This is such a non-issue.”

Indeed, the SKIMS founder—who also shares kids Saint West, 9, Chicago West, 7, and Psalm West, 6, with Kanye—has actively encouraged North to explore her own style, regardless of outside opinions.

“I’m like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is,’” Kim told Alex Cooper on the Oct. 15 episode of Call Her Daddy. “It makes her so happy. I would never take that creative away from her.”
