Nicki Minaj Says She’s Not Transphobic & Explains Trump Alignment

On Tuesday, February 3, a new episode of the ‘Katie Miller Pod’ was released via YouTube featuring Nicki Minaj as a guest. During the conversation, Minaj expressed that she decided to support President Donald Trump after witnessing “how he was being treated.”

“I felt that that same — a lot of that bullying and the smear campaigns, and all of that lying — I felt like that had been done to me for so many years. And I was watching it in real time happen to someone else, and I didn’t think he deserved it,” Minaj explained.

As the discussion progressed, Minaj mentioned that Trump conveyed his respect for her fanbase and the LGBTQ+ community. Approximately nine minutes into the interview, Minaj articulated her own viewpoint, stating that while she disagrees with pro-trans rhetoric being promoted in schools, she does not identify as transphobic. Moreover, she asserted that “adults” should have the autonomy to make choices regarding their bodies.
