Olivia Dean Achieves Another ARIA Chart Double This Week

Olivia Dean concludes a successful week by achieving another double on the ARIA Charts.

The British singer and songwriter reclaims the top position on the national albums chart, as The Art Of Loving (via Universal) rises from 2 to 1 for its eighth non-consecutive week at the top, while her quadruple platinum certified hit “Man I Need” maintains the singles chart crown for a 12th consecutive week.

With this streak, “Man I Need” becomes the longest-reigning single by a solo female artist since Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” in 2023.

There’s more love for Dean, as “So Easy (To Fall In Love)” climbs from 4 to 2 on the ARIA Singles Chart, reaching a new peak position; while “Nice To Each Other” improves from 12 to 11; “Rein Me In” featuring Sam Fender jumps from 20 to 16, marking a new peak; “A Couple Minutes” rises from 19 to 17; and “Baby Steps” moves up from 30 to 28.

It’s been an incredible week for Dean, who on Sunday, Feb. 1, received the Grammy Award for Best New Artist.

The top debut on the latest chart, published Friday, Feb. 6, belongs to Noah Kahan as “The Great Divide” (Universal) enters at No. 15. This marks Kahan’s fourth appearance in the top 50 of the ARIA Singles Chart, including his breakout hit “Stick Season,” which spent three weeks at No. 1 in early 2024.

Tame Impala also celebrated success at the 68th Grammy Awards, where Kevin Parker’s psychedelic pop project won Best Dance/Electronic Recording for “End Of Summer,” marking his second Grammy win in this category. Deadbeat (Columbia/Sony) track “Dracula” is the only local title in the top 50 this week, dropping from 26 to 32.
