Omarosa Discusses Her Reality TV Journey, Regrets, and Rooming with Cynthia Bailey and Kim Zolciak
Regrets? Omarosa has a number of, but she focuses on just one significant regret that stands out in her mind.
In a candid conversation with TooFab regarding her latest reality competition series, Got to Get Out—currently available for streaming in full on Hulu— the infamous reality TV veteran articulated her feelings of regret over comments she made about co-star Spencer Pratt during the show. Despite this, she stands firmly by a choice that ultimately cost her a considerable sum of money.
Got to Get Out, hosted by Simu Liu, features a group of familiar faces from reality television alongside everyday individuals competing for a substantial cash prize. The format is simple yet thrilling: contestants are confined in a luxurious property, and as time passes, the grand prize increases. If any contestant manages to sneak off the property without being detected, they claim the current prize. However, if no one escapes within ten days, the prize resets to zero, and any remaining cash is evenly distributed among the contestants still in the house.

Upon the group’s arrival at the house during the premiere episode, Omarosa, at 51 years old, described Pratt to another contestant as “the weirdest reality person you will ever meet.” This remark did not sit well with The Hills alum, who later discussed it in his interview with TooFab.
After TooFab relayed Pratt’s feelings to Omarosa, she responded, “I didn’t say he was the weirdest. Why are people saying that? … No, I stated he is ‘a little weird.’ It was not the weirdest. Did I say he is the weirdest?”
TooFab clarified that it was indeed a “direct quote,” which prompted Omarosa to apologize immediately, addressing Pratt directly, “Oh no, Spencer, I am sorry. I do not want that.”
She maintained that her opinion of him hadn’t changed and provided some “context” regarding her description of Pratt as “weird.”
“Spencer came in wearing these huge crystals, you know, he sells crystals and he does these… Then he started talking to Kim about the crystals and all this other stuff,” Omarosa explained. “And I was like, ‘He’s kind of weird.’ Then one of the contestants asked, ‘Well, who is he?’ and I replied, ‘One of the weirdest.’ Now he’s mad at me.”
When TooFab noted that perhaps Pratt was more upset because Omarosa didn’t convey her comment directly to him, Omarosa laughed and said, “I said a lot to his face. Just wait until Episode 7.”
“No, but I do like the guy and I love Heidi,” she clarified. “So I’m sending love to Spencer today. You’re weird, but you’re also diabolical, which I believe is a direct quote too.”
“That’s the highest praise one villain can give to another villain. But you definitely have to keep your eye on both Spencer and me,” she added. “I mean, we play this game the way it’s meant to be played.”
During TooFab’s interview with Pratt, he was informed of Omarosa’s apology, to which he responded that she even texted him denying calling him “the weirdest reality person you will ever meet.”
“I called her. I’m like, ‘I just watched it. Would you like to FaceTime and I’ll put it on?’ She’s like, ‘I don’t remember saying that,’” he recounted. “I found it very strange that you would say that. I don’t mind being called weird. I just don’t know if I’m the weirdest. There are some odd shows on reality TV.”
Pratt’s wife, Heidi Montag, was off-camera during the interview and chimed in with her perspective on the situation.
“I think Heidi just said, weird isn’t even a word that describes me. Thanks, honey,” he added. “Heidi’s not feeling that comment.”
Meanwhile, Omarosa also disclosed information about her experience rooming with The Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Kim Zolciak and Cynthia Bailey in the Got to Get Out mansion. Cynthia had also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother alongside Omarosa.
“This house was a $45 million mansion. It was stunning. I must admit, I’ve been to many places, but this house was absolutely magnificent,” she shared when asked to compare the mansion with those she resided in while appearing on House of Villains and Celebrity Big Brother, and during her time in the White House. “I want to thank Hulu, Disney, and the production team for giving us the master bedroom. My roommates were Cynthia Bailey and Kim Zolciak, and we had the Grand Dame queen suite. I was incredibly comfortable throughout the entire filming process. The bedroom and bathroom we had were larger than my current apartment in law school. Our bathroom was probably 8,900 square feet.”
When asked about her experience sharing a room with the ladies, Omarosa remarked that so much happened they could have filmed an entirely different reality show.
“We had the stars, of course, Big Brother. We had the fabulous Housewives of Atlanta. And one of our other roommates was a model,” she revealed. “We could have an entire separate reality show due to the numerous antics that occurred in our particular suite, including one incident involving Spencer when he decided to come into our bathroom.”

Throughout the competition, only two players successfully escaped when they teamed up—Bailey and adventurer Stein Retzlaff—who devised a plan where Bailey monitored the button while Retzlaff dashed through the gate, allowing the duo to split the $312,060 pot evenly. After they left with $156,030 each, followed by Clare Crawley and Jill Ashlock, who exited the home on their own, 16 contestants remained inside, including Omarosa. Following several failed escape attempts, the final 16 players divided the $687,940 pot, with each winning $42,996.
While speaking with TooFab, Omarosa shared her thoughts on the necessity of splitting the final winnings and explained why she wouldn’t have acted differently.
According to the reality star, she had a much more pressing priority during filming: law school!
“I don’t know if you had a chance to speak with Cynthia or Stein, but I was in an alliance… the three of us were in an alliance,” Omarosa revealed, adding, “Something the audience may not realize is that I was in the middle of law school while we were shooting this show. Four hours a day, I had to attend classes, submit my readings, and complete my homework.”
“So the night they had the chance to make their run was the night I had class, and I had a deadline for a class that I simply couldn’t fail, that I couldn’t miss,” she continued. “And so I just… Oh, it’s just… It’s a $100,000 decision, which I don’t regret making because I’m about to graduate from law school. Had I failed that class, I wouldn’t be graduating from law school next month.”
Although she stated she does not “regret” her decision, Omarosa admitted it’s still “definitely a tough pill to swallow.”
“I should have been part of that escape with Cynthia and Stein,” she reflected. “But I am very proud that I was able to navigate through this experience while attending law school, which is very, very challenging.”

Additionally, during her discussion with TooFab, the reality television veteran expressed her thoughts on being labeled a reality TV “villain” like Pratt.
“Villains have more fun. Nice girls go to heaven, bad girls go everywhere, right?” Omarosa said with a laugh. “I don’t know that I lean into it. I tend to receive that label because I play a very aggressive game. But in terms of the genre, I genuinely believe that having Spencer on the show with me really benefited me because every time he came up with something crazy and creative to do, I was like, ‘Oh, I’m not going to let Spencer outdo me.’ So then I would do something wild and try to outdo him.”
“We both needed to evolve our game because we had such big targets on our backs. Since we’re so much a part of this genre, we had to find a way to escape despite all the different obstacles we had to face because they… knew our strategy,” she elaborated. “They knew how we played in the past, over a hundred reality shows. If you want to figure out what Omarosa is going to do on a show, watch, you know, look at my IMDB.”
“But on this particular show, I was able to evolve my game, which is what enabled me to do what I did during the series,” she concluded.
