Hollywood is going for the gold.
The 2026 award season has all been leading up to Hollywood’s biggest night, a.k.a. the 98th Oscars, and that special evening is finally almost here.
The annual Academy Awards ceremony—taking place Sunday, March 15, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and hosted by Conan O’Brien—will honor the year’s highest achievements in filmmaking and acting. So, it should come as no surprise that many stars from some of the most talked-about movies from the past 12 months will be hitting the red carpet this weekend as nominees.
Nominated in the lead and supporting acting categories are silver screen heavyweights like One Battle After Another‘s Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Benicio Del Toro, Marty Supreme‘s Timothée Chalamet, Sinners‘ Michael B. Jordan, and Bugonia star Emma Stone.
But there will also be plenty of fresh faces hoping to nab their first Academy Award statue. Oscars newcomers including Hamnet‘s Jessie Buckley, Frankenstein‘s Jacob Elordi, The Secret Agent‘s Wagner Moura, and One Battle After Another‘s Teyana Taylor will surely be making a splash at the A-list celebration.
