Ozzy Osbourne Concert Dedications and Covers by Artists

Musicians from various genres have come together to honor the legacy of Ozzy Osbourne, who sadly passed away on July 22, just 17 days following his emotional farewell concert. This loss has resonated deeply within the music community, highlighting the profound impact he made throughout his career.

During a heartfelt performance in Cardiff, Wales, Alice Cooper expressed, “The entire world is grieving for Ozzy tonight.” He dedicated the entirety of his concert to Osbourne, remarking, “I always viewed Ozzy as a blend between the Prince of Darkness, as his fans recognized him, and the court jester, a side only his family and friends truly understood. He was, and will remain, an everlasting rock ‘n’ roll icon. The rock ‘n’ roll family is a close-knit fraternity, and when we lose one of our own, it hurts deeply. I truly wish I had the chance to know my brother Ozzy better.”

The band Mammoth, led by Wolfgang Van Halen, paid tribute by learning Osbourne’s heartfelt ballad “Mama, I’m Coming Home” backstage. They only practiced it a few times before performing it live for an audience in Hartford, Connecticut, showcasing their respect and admiration for the rock legend.
