Pain Meds Addiction: Kaitlyn Bristowe Opens Up After Surgery

Kaitlyn Bristowe Calls Out Ex Jason Tartick for Giving His New Dog Her Dream Baby Name

Kaitlyn Bristowe‘s recovery from her breast augmentation wasn’t entirely smooth.

Three months after undergoing breast augmentation surgery for new implants, the Bachelor Nation star candidly shared her experience, emphasizing to those considering a similar procedure to “ensure someone is taking care of you” during the healing process.

“I thought I’d be fine and forgot my entire pill schedule and became a bit dependent on pain medications,” Kaitlyn wrote in an Instagram Stories Q&A on August 21, according to Us Weekly. “It was scary.”

The 40-year-old also encouraged fans to “trust” their doctor.

“Avoid social media, refrain from making decisions or shopping,” she advised. “I couldn’t stop shopping and I can barely remember it.”

Kaitlyn has always been transparent about her cosmetic procedures. Previously, she revealed that she had undergone a brow lift and microblading since appearing on Chris Soules‘ season of The Bachelor in 2015, along with lip fillers and having her teeth “bonded.”

“I finally learned how to contour,” she added in a 2021 message on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Oh, and I gained some weight.”
